We stayed at Cote Ghyll Mill for one night during our hike along the Coast to Coast Trail. The youth hostel was perfectly located beside a beautiful waterfall. The private facilities were a treat, with plenty of electric plugs and night lights. The staff went above and beyond, keeping our dinners warm and staying late to assist us. The drying room was a lifesaver after a long day of walking. The surroundings were stunning, and the free wi-fi and TV room provided entertainment. The restaurant had great service and generous portions. a cozy and welcoming place with friendly and helpful staff.
Would recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at a lovely site near Osmotherley for a couple of nights and had a great experience. The site had a variety of areas to pitch and although it was mostly caravans at the time, I could see that it would be perfect for tents once the weather gets better. The toilets and showers were very clean and there was hardly ever a wait to use them. The best part for me was the kids playground, which had two connected playgrounds surrounded by woodland. My children had a blast playing there for hours and I felt comfortable being able to keep an eye on them. The staff were also friendly and helpful, making my stay even better. I would definitely recommend this site for a good camping experience.

The bedsheets and linen were extremely comfortable. The common kitchen area was well equipped and offered breakfast options for vegans. There was a drying room available, which was useful after walking in heavy rain. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was amazing for exploring the North York Moors.

The location of the hotel is surrounded by beautiful nature, with a little park and a stream nearby for the kids to enjoy. the showers and toilets were always clean and easily accessible. the staff member who greeted us was friendly and made us feel welcome.
The staff was not willing to create a safe environment for families, as they did not enforce noise and open fire policies and were indifferent to drug use on the premises.

The location of the hotel was perfect, nestled in beautiful surroundings and close to key attractions in the area. The free wi-fi was a great bonus and made it easy to stay connected. the TV room with books and games provided entertainment for all ages.
One of the major drawbacks was the lack of clear signage at the entrance, which led to confusion in finding the hotel. the rooms did not air well, which became noticeable after staying for a few days.

The staff were friendly and helpful, always willing to assist in any way they could. The rooms were clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable space to rest. The location of the hotel was also a positive aspect, offering beautiful surroundings and a peaceful atmosphere for a relaxing stay.
The prices for the accommodation were exorbitant, with additional charges for amenities that should be included. The location was also quite far from the village, requiring a long and hilly walk to reach any amenities.
